Recent findings in quantum chemistry says that quantum particle can travel in a direction opposite to the direction of its momentum. This finding was against the fact that 'objects travel in the same direction as their momentum.' So can you tell how can we make use of this finding? What are the changes that can occur due to this finding?

I didn't read anything about this point, and it seems that this phenomenon is irrelevant to quantum chemistry, it is more related to quantum physics.
