In Windows, commonly you do not need to "install", just uncompress the package and double-click Multiwfn.exe, the program will boot up. However, I suggest properly modify "nthreads" in settings.ini file, see section 2.1.1 of Multiwfn manual.

I recorded some video tutorials of Multiwfn, see this post: //www.umsyar.com/wfnbbs/viewtopic.php?id=209. The system used in recording these videos is Win7-64bit. As you can see, Multiwfn works very well.

Best regards

Tian

<![CDATA[Multiwfn Software Distribution]]> //www.umsyar.com/wfnbbs/viewtopic.php?pid=694#p694 Dear Multiwfn Team

I want to thank you kindly to release freely Multiwfn software distribution.
Our research is concentrated on studying a vital energy which is magnetism. I used AkaiKKR software distribution to calculate the electronic properties of compounds. I started using Multiwfn to plot the partial density of state and I am so confused to install it in Windows 7. I am wondering if that work well even in windows 7.

Thank you kindly advise me using Multiwfn software on Windows 7

Best regards
Mariem Ouchri
